At the risk of sounding like a major nerd, I am cautiously optimistic about this movie even though I know that it will have a very different plot than the original. Fans of the GITS anime know that the Major is Kusanagi Motoko, I doubt that this will be her name in this live action adaptation. It isn’t a deal breaker, but its a bummer. Also, I think that I saw a character in the preview that is supposed to be Batou, but its hard to say. Oh yeah, and Scarlett Johansson is fucking hot, with or without nipples in this movie. Look up her hacked selfies if you’re dying to see them.
